  1. I love hydrangeas! I love the way their small flowers bloom in big beautiful bouquets. I’m also amazed by their ability to change color. I put fresh stems into a vase, and then dry some for decoration indoors long into the fall. There are so many different types of hydrangeas–check them out and spruce up your garden!

  2. Thanks Marilyn. Hydrangeas are one of my favorites too!

  3. I really like the boots planter with the daffodils in them as they are Spring-like. I am hoping to plant my leftover bulbs that I did not get to force inside in my outside window boxes soon (they were stored in my unheated basement all winter). I did many but did not use up everything I had planned. Like the Nantucket garden scene, we have had daffodils bloom in our town as well, although not in my yard yet, where I have several hundred planted! Daffodils are our best choice as the deer (who are plentiful around here) will not eat them. We have tried to attach a picture of some of our daffodils, but have not been successful…

  4. HERBS…..
Not only are herbs (rosemary, basil, thyme, green onions, cilantro & mintl)
a source of food but more beautiful than one can imagine. If only people
knew how easy and low maintance a herb garden can be. It’s all about the TASTE.
Food is a love for many people of all ages and all that one needs is that magic HERB to make the mose delicious, nutritious foods. This is what makes our taste buds BURST with flavor that is why I love my herb garden. My herbs are always fresh picked and so healthy when added to foods.
I do not have a photo of my herb garden but image the most delicate looking flowers with the natural scent of nature at it’s finest…

  5. I love any garden(including our own) that has plants &flowers which attract butterflies& birds. There’s NO better expression of God’s handiwork. These gardens are masterpieces!!!!
